Actress Angelina Jolie is preparing to sell her historic Los Angeles estate and planning to move abroad once her youngest children, twins Knox and Vivienne, turn 18 in July 2026.
The 11,000-square-foot Beaux-Arts home in Los Feliz, built in 1913 and once owned by legendary director Cecil B. DeMille, was purchased by Jolie in 2017 for $24.5 million. It features six bedrooms, ten bathrooms, elegant formal gardens, a pool with cascading fountains, a tea house, and a studio cottage.
Jolie remained in L.A. due to a custody arrangement with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, but now that her divorce has been finalized and the children are nearing adulthood, she’s eager to leave. Sources say she never intended to live in the city permanently and is now exploring options abroad—expressing a strong personal connection to Cambodia, where she adopted her eldest son Maddox.
Before listing the property, Jolie plans to make minor improvements to the home. After the sale, she looks forward to a life focused on peace, privacy, and global humanitarian work, away from Hollywood’s spotlight.
