A blonde woman went to her doctor after realizing she had put on a few extra pounds. She wanted to lose weight quickly before an upcoming event, so the doctor gave her a simple plan.
âI want you to eat normally for two days,â the doctor explained, âthen skip a day. Repeat this for two weeks. If you stick to it, youâll lose at least five pounds by the time I see you again.â
The woman wrote everything down carefully, nodded, and promised to follow the instructions exactly.
Two weeks later, she came back looking exhausted â but also noticeably slimmer. The doctor was impressed.
âMy goodness!â he said. âYouâve lost nearly fifteen pounds! Did you really follow my instructions?â
She nodded. âYes, exactly as you said â two days eating normally, then one day of skipping.â
The doctor smiled. âWow, I didnât think it would work that well! But you look exhausted. Were the âskipâ days really that hard?â
The woman sighed. âHard? You have no idea! I almost didnât make it through the second week.â
The doctor frowned, confused. âWait⌠what do you mean?â
She replied, catching her breath:
âWell, I ate for two days like you said, then on the third day, I started skipping â all day long! Around the house, down the street, even in the park! My legs are killing me!â đ
