- You’re drinking too much before bed. Especially beverages like tea, coffee, or alcohol, which act as diuretics.
- Hormonal changes or medication effects. As we age, the hormone that helps our body retain fluid at night drops, making nighttime urination more common.
Doctors recommend checking your blood pressure, sugar levels, and kidney function if this happens regularly. And try simple steps like reducing fluids after 7 PM and elevating your legs for a few minutes before bed to help your body balance fluid naturally.
