My sister-in-law made these once, and I swear I couldn’t stop eating them. They’re crispy on the outside, soft inside, and ridiculously flavorful — the kind of snack that disappears before you even realize it. Once you try them, you’ll understand why I don’t dare make them too often!
Here’s the full recipe so you can make them yourself 👇
Ingredients:
- 3 medium potatoes (peeled and boiled)
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika or chili powder (for a little heat)
- 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander or parsley
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- Mash the boiled potatoes in a bowl until completely smooth.
- Add cornflour, all-purpose flour, and spices. Mix everything well until it forms a soft dough.
- Roll out the dough into a flat sheet (about ½ inch thick).
- Cut into long finger shapes using a knife or pizza cutter.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the potato sticks on medium heat until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and sprinkle a pinch of salt or cheese powder on top while still hot.
Serve with ketchup, garlic mayo, or spicy dipping sauce — and prepare for them to vanish in minutes!
These crunchy delights are perfect for parties, snacks, or even midnight cravings. Just be warned: once you start, there’s no stopping! 😋
